Riverwalk Baptist Church is a community of people who want to discover more about God and make a difference in our local community.

Our gatherings begin at 9am and include music, multimedia, teaching and food! We enjoy a relaxed approach to church (the cinema seats help with that!) with our service running for no longer than an hour.

Young Riverwalkers has been launched!  There will be a special children’s program in the function room on the third Sunday of each month. If you have children/grandchildren that you would like to bring along with you, the third Sunday of each month is for them.

We’ve been meeting at the Sunshine Plaza Cinemas on Sundays for over 20 years and are a group of people of all ages and stages of life. We align ourselves with the Baptist tradition and are affiliated with the Queensland Baptist Union.

Our new Vision Statement:

10 years from now, we see Riverwalk Baptist Church as a faithful, obedient and generous Kingdom community who are one in heart and mind and have a deep desire for God.

We see a flexible and responsive church committed to one another and to serving the Sunshine Coast, known as an oasis and refuge where the unloved are loved and the needs of others are met.

We see a church of bold and focused Kingdom builders enabled by God to be a light to our community. We see multiple and growing disciple-making ministries in targeted areas of our community that bring transformation to those who need it most.

We see a church led by God, committed to His vision, His mission and to seeing His Kingdom come. Amen.
